Composition générale du 18e siècle inspirée du modèle versaillais. Reconstruit de 1775 à 1785 sur les plans de Martial Fouacier, à l'emplacement d'une maison-forte connue dès le 14e siècle. A la fin du 19e siècle (1883-1889) , réparation et restauration du château confiées à l'architecte Duthoit.
