What the French Ministry of Culture records

Château reconstruit après la guerre de Cent ans. L'édifice se compose d'une grosse tour carrée. A la base de la tour, côté est, se trouvent trois petits contreforts. La maçonnerie jusqu'à hauteur des contreforts paraît ancienne et a peut-être appartenu à une tour romane. Du côté nord, une construction était adossée à la tour, sans doute une tour moins importante, en ruines. L'ensemble porte la marque de la fin du 15e ou du début du 16e siècle. A l'angle sud-ouest, tourelle cylindrique contenant l'escalier à vis. La tour carrée et sa tourelle sont couronnées par des créneaux et des mâchicoulis sur consoles.
