Château des Guilhem stands in Clermont-l'Hérault (Hérault), in the Occitanie region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: Middle Ages). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Perched on the Puech Castel hill above Clermont-l'Hérault, the ruins of a medieval fortress built by the Guilhem lords in the 12th and 13th centuries still overlook the town. The semicircular wall, its seven round towers and the keep once controlled the Hérault valley below. Only bare remains stand today, roofless and unfurnished, though their outline remains visible from the streets underneath.
