To make a day of it

Château des Écorces stands in Chemazé (Mayenne), in the Pays de la Loire region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

The Château des Écorces stands in Chemazé, in the Mayenne department, on a site linked to the Le Verrier family and their fief since the 16th century. The building seen today dates from 1830, raised on the site of an earlier residence, before being altered and set within a park in the late 19th century. Its history follows several families, most notably the Bucher de Chauvigné and later the Vaujuas-Langan, who owned it across nearly four centuries.
