To make a day of it

Château des Briottières stands in Les Hauts d'Anjou (Maine-et-Loire), in the Pays de la Loire region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

The château des Briottières stands in Champigné, in the Hauts d'Anjou area, within a 40-hectare landscaped park laid out in the English style. Rebuilt in the second half of the 18th century for the Lesrat family, it features a central main building flanked by two pavilions, in a composition marked by strong horizontality. The eastern façade is punctuated by a two-bay projection topped with an arched pediment, while a covered terrace gallery added in the 19th century animates the north-west front. The estate, now run as a hotel, is seen mainly through its architecture and grounds.
