Château de Tressé stands in Ombrée d'Anjou (Maine-et-Loire), in the Pays de la Loire region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The château de Tressé stands about one kilometre from the centre of Pouancé, in the Maine-et-Loire département. Commissioned in 1845 by the marquis de Preaulx from the architect Liberge and completed in 1848, it replaced an earlier building erected in the early nineteenth century. Its neoclassical style is visible in facades decorated with dormer windows, pediments and medallions, and in an entrance hall lined with faux-marble columns leading to a staircase with a white marble handrail. A chapel built in the park holds the tombs of several members of the Preaulx family.
