To make a day of it

Château de Verneuil-sur-Seine stands in Verneuil-sur-Seine (Yvelines), in the Île-de-France region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

The Château de Romé, better known as the Château de Verneuil, stands in Verneuil-sur-Seine in the Yvelines department. Its origins date back to the 12th century, though its present appearance owes much to 18th-century alterations, in particular those carried out by architect Denis Antoine. The estate was home in childhood to Alexis de Tocqueville, whose family lived there in the early 19th century. The building now belongs to a private school and houses its administrative offices.
