What the French Ministry of Culture records

La propriété du « Valmoré » se situe en bordure de la forêt de Saint-Germain et provient du lotissement de l'ancien parc de Noailles. La maison d'habitation, construite en 1859, se compose d'un élégant pavillon, assez caractéristique du 19ème siècle, avec sa véranda, son balcon au premier étage et son décor de stuc, principalement sur la façade ouest. Les pièces de réception du rez-de-chaussée sont ornées d'un riche décor de boiseries et de stuc dans le style du 18ème siècle. L'actuelle bibliothèque renferme une spectaculaire cheminée. En 1886, la propriété fut vendue au Comte de Miramon et restera dans cette famille jusqu'en 1907.
