Located in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, this late 19th century château combines a neo-gothic exterior with an unusual industrial and architectural history. Built in 1882 for an industrialist, it later housed a steel research institute before being transformed in the 1990s by architect Dominique Perrault, who added a circular glass structure. Restored in the early 2020s, it can now be seen as a contrast between its original volumes and contemporary additions, set within an innovation campus.

  • The site was left abandoned for a period in the 1990s and 2000s before being restored in the early 2020s.
  • A visit highlights the contrast between the late 19th century exterior and the contemporary interior additions.
