To make a day of it

Château de Truscat stands in Sarzeau (Morbihan), in the Bretagne region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

At Sarzeau, by the Gulf of Morbihan, the Château de Truscat stands within a park of centuries-old trees. The present building dates from 1702 and replaced a 16th-century manor house, itself built on the site of a dwelling first recorded in the 15th century. The same family, the Franchevilles, and later their descendants by marriage, held the estate for more than five hundred years. A chapel dating from the early 17th century still stands on the grounds.
