What the French Ministry of Culture records

En 1880, reconstruction du château en style troubadour. Les décors intérieurs présentent un ensemble de tapisseries traitées à la manière médiévale et des cheminées dont celle monumentale de la salle-à-manger, ornée de carreaux vernissés réalisés par l'atelier Virebent. Le château s'intègre dans un domaine comprenant le parc et les dépendances. Le parc descend vers l'étang, suivant les règles de la composition des parcs à l'anglaise. Les fabriques comprennent une miellerie en ciment moulé reprenant l'aspect d'un ouvrage en rondins, suivant la mode de la fin du 19e siècle. Le château est une illustration des grands domaines aristocratiques de la fin du 19e siècle.
