What the French Ministry of Culture records
Edifice à plan régulier, présentant une vaste place d'armes rectangulaire, bordée de courtines avec archères dans le bas. Des bâtiments y étaient adossés côté nord. Les milieux des faces nord et sud sont flanqués d'une tour, ronde au nord, ornée de bossages, et carrée au sud. La grande entrée est placée à l'est. Un énorme donjon carré forme le fond. Au pied de la face orientale du donjon est placé l'escalier qui menait au chemin de ronde et une poterne. Le donjon date de la fin du 13e siècle et comprend quatre étages couverts par des voûtes en huit parties. L'habitation seigneuriale, complètement ruinée, était située entre le donjon et la pointe occidentale.
