Built in the eighteenth century at Cadaujac, Saige Castle was created by François-Armand de Saige, a former attorney general at the Bordeaux Parliament who became mayor of the city in 1791. This residence of rectangular plan, extended by a hemicycle wing, was never completed. Its classical architecture unfolds over three levels, marked by symmetrical facades where triangular pediments crown the dormer windows, with the centre distinguished by an arched pediment.
