Château de Rustéphan stands in Pont-Aven (Finistère), in the Bretagne region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 15th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.
Near Pont-Aven, the château de Rustéphan consists of the remains of a residence dating back to the 15th century, rebuilt on an older fortified site attributed to the Count of Penthièvre. Visitors can see an angle tower where the staircase has kept its original newel post, a testament to medieval stonework. Sold as national property during the Revolution, the building lost much of its stone, which was reused to build neighbouring farms.
