The Château de Neuville-Bosc, in the Oise département, combines two building periods: a main residence raised in 1750 by the abbé Largillière, later extended in the mid-19th century by the industrialist Antoine Havard, who was fond of this part of the Vexin region. Havard had a farm, a school and the steward's house - now known as the Maison des Jardins - built around the château. The estate and the surrounding forest are listed on the supplementary inventory of historic monuments.

What to know

The château now houses the town hall of Neuville-Bosc, following a renovation carried out in 1993 by architect Richard Gallois.
Since 1996 the building has mainly been used to host corporate seminars, which limits public access to the interior.
