Château de Montvillargenne stands in Gouvieux (Oise), in the Hauts-de-France region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
In Gouvieux, close to Chantilly, the Château de Montvillargenne was built in the early twentieth century for Jeanne de Rothschild, in an eclectic style featuring Normandy-inspired half-timbering. The architect Léon-Maurice Chatenay, already linked to the family, designed the building, while landscape architect Charles Masson laid out terraced grounds recalling an Italian garden. Having gone through several lives, wartime occupation, a religious novitiate, a craft school, the building now operates as a hotel.
