The building visible today dates from the 19th century, erected by Charles and Élisa Lemonnier, figures of the Saint-Simonian movement, on the ruins of the medieval castle they had torn down. The estate retains a moat system and two outbuildings from the feudal period, along with a wooded park surrounding the house.
