What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château est le résultat de plusieurs campagnes de construction. Dans la seconde moitié du 16e siècle furent élevés les communs et l'aile Est avec son pavillon au sud. A partir de 1754, la distribution de l'aile nord fut transformée, ce qui engendra le remaniement de la façade sur cour, dotée d'une travée supplémentaire gagnée sur l'ancienne tour d'escalier démolie simultanément. Au 19e siècle, la façade nord de l'aile nord fut également modifiée pour obéir à la mode néo-classique. L'édifice conserve un salon lambrissé de style rocaille, et un papier peint panoramique de 1851. La terrasse sur la Conie pourrait renfermer les vestiges archéologiques du château médiéval.
