What the French Ministry of Culture records

Construction de la fin du 17e siècle ayant remplacé une maison forte du 15e siècle, siège d'un des baillages du comté du Plessis-Bertrand. L'édifice est flanqué de deux ailes plus récentes et agrémenté d'une chapelle et d'un colombier. Le château se trouve au milieu d'un jardin à la française. L'intérieur du corps de logis conserve un escalier en bois à gros balustres ainsi que des plafonds à poutres et solives apparentes. Le portail d'entrée se compose d'une grille en fer forgé du 18e siècle. L'édifice présente l'un des plus intéressants modèles de maison des champs malouine subsistant dans la région.
