Ce château du 17e siècle, ainsi que ses communs, fut l'objet d'importants travaux d'embellissement entrepris par l'architecte François II Franque au 18e siècle. La rampe de l'escalier d'honneur, les boiseries du grand salon, et les cinq cheminées ont été réalisées entre 1745 et 1758. La chapelle fut consacrée en 1756.
