Château, dans son état actuel, date du début du 18e siècle. Il conserve des vestiges du château antérieur médiéval (cheminées du grand salon). Certaines parties de fortifications remontent au 11e siècle. L'enceinte a été renforcée aux 13e et 15e siècles. La collégiale (1367) a été restaurée par l'architecte Sagot au 19e siècle (porche néo-gothique sur la façade ouest). Vitraux posés en 1880.
