Torn down and rebuilt from 1770 for Pierre-Antoine de Longpra, a councillor at the Dauphiné parliament, the house took on the restrained, symmetrical lines typical of the 18th century. Several rooms inside still hold their original decoration, including floors attributed to the Hache family of cabinetmakers from Grenoble. The estate also houses a museum of woodworking tools tied to the craftsmen who produced these interiors.
