What the French Ministry of Culture records

La mention la plus ancienne de la seigneurie remonte à 1391. Le château fut vraisemblablement édifié à la fin du 17e siècle en remplacement d'un ancien édifice qui existait encore en 1718, avec fossés et pont-levis. Il se présente comme un corps de logis en briques, construit en rez-de-chaussée et combles. La partie centrale forme un corps de bâtiment surélevé d'un étage. Deux petites ailes en retour d'équerre sont accolées à la façade sud. Cette dernière a été habillée, au début du siècle, par une galerie fermée, construite dans le même style, destinée à distribuer les pièces du rez-de-chaussée. La façade nord conserve son aspect d'origine. Quelques décors de boiseries sont conservés à l'intérieur.
