What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le domaine de Lassales, mentionné depuis le 13ème siècle, est implanté au sommet d'un tertre rectangulaire. Il se compose d'un château entouré de communs, d'une chapelle du 12ème siècle ainsi que d'un bâtiment ayant servi d'orangerie et datant de la fin du 16èm siècle ou début du 17ème siècle. Des terrasses relient les différents bâtiments. Le château est de plan rectangulaire, à deux niveaux, flanqué au sud d'un pavillon carré construit au 18ème siècle. Les communs ainsi que le château forment un plan en U ouvert sur une cour intérieure. La chapelle romane présente un plan carré. Elle se dresse à côté de l'orangerie devant laquelle se déployait un jardin régulier (encore visible sur le plan de 1823). L'orangerie est une construction rectangulaire avec, aux angles, deux pavillons carrés. Le pavillon sud a conservé sa voûte d'ogives.
