Set on a rocky spur above the Benaize valley, the château de Lascroux stands on the site of a 15th century fortified manor house, of which a section of wall and two turrets remain. The present building took shape through successive building campaigns from the 1860s into the early 20th century, giving it its Louis XIII style with multiple wings. The landscaped park, laid out in 1893 by the Limoges landscaper Nivet, together with a neo-Gothic gatehouse and stables, complete the estate.
