The château de Rhodes stands in the commune of Mouhet, in the Indre department, and gave its name to a junior branch of the ancient Pot family, who acquired the estate in the fourteenth century through the marriage of Raoul Pot to Jeanne de Séris. He and his father Jean were buried in the nearby church of Saint-Pierre in Mouhet, beneath a marble plaque bearing their epitaphs.
