Château de Larnagol stands in Larnagol (Lot), in the Occitanie region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 18th century, first quarter of the 20th century). Adult admission costs 10 EUR. Set on a rocky spur at the heart of the village, this castle in the Lot combines a medieval keep from the early 14th century with additions built in the 18th century, along with terraced gardens overlooking the valley. The property has kept much of its original decor, plasterwork, panelling and parquet floors, cared for through successive restoration campaigns. It also owes part of its character to ironwork artist Raymond Subes, who spent fifty summers there and left behind pieces of his craft, notably the entrance gate and railings.
