Puits de forme circulaire, d'un diamètre de six mètres, peu profond, avec des marches d'escalier le long de la paroi descendant jusqu'au fond. Des dalles larges, spécialement taillées, couvraient la partie supérieure de la paroi au niveau du sol. Un certain nombre d'entre elles a disparu.
