To make a day of it

Château de Cadrieu stands in Cadrieu (Lot), in the Occitanie region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

Standing on a rocky spur above the Lot valley, away from the village, the château de Cadrieu combines a medieval tower with a Renaissance dwelling reworked in the 17th century. The lords of Cadrieu, documented from the 13th century, held the estate until the 18th century, when it passed by marriage to the Lostanges family and later into private hands. The building, now partly in ruins, consists of an elongated tower flanked by two wings forming an L around a courtyard. Since 2019 the grounds have hosted the Madistan music festival.
