To make a day of it

Château de Laly stands in Le Montet (Allier), in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

In Le Montet, in the Allier department, the Château de Laly stands apart from the village, on the site of a fortified house first recorded in the early sixteenth century. Its present appearance owes much to nineteenth-century alterations, which gave it its rectangular main building flanked by two wings set at right angles. The estate passed from the Le Bret family to the Gaulmyn family, and once included a hunting lodge, the Saint-Hubert manor, along with a mill among its dependencies.
