What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le château se compose d'un corps de bâtiment principal et de deux ailes formant, avec l'élément central, deux angles optus. Le plan ordonné et régulier permet de penser que l'ensemble du château date du 17e siècle. Certains éléments cependant sont plus anciens : la tour carrée qui flanque le château au nord-est doit dater du 13e siècle. L'aile sud-est porte encore la trace d'un mâchicoulis et daterait du 15e siècle. Intérieurement, il reste peu de chose de l'ancien décor. Le premier étage de la partie centrale est constitué d'une unique pièce aux vastes proportions qui garde encore quelques traces de fresques, un dallage de pierre, ainsi qu'un plafond à la française.
