Château de la Madeleine stands in Pressagny-l'Orgueilleux (Eure), in the Normandie region of France. Overlooking the Seine between Pressagny-l'Orgueilleux and Vernon, the Château de la Madeleine stands on a site once occupied by a medieval priory dedicated to Mary Magdalene. Rebuilt and extended over successive generations, it now combines four façades from different periods and styles, neo-Gothic, neo-Renaissance and Art Deco, arranged around a single courtyard. The poet Casimir Delavigne lived there for several years before the estate passed to the Thénard family and was later restored after a long period of neglect.
