What the French Ministry of Culture records

Dans les années 1760, une nouvelle demeure est édifiée. Le château se présente dans son aspect architectural du 18e siècle auquel l'architecte rennais Jobbé-Duval a apporté une monumentalité en 1902-1903. Son intervention s'inspire de l'architecture des malouinières. Le logis, construit en rez-de-chaussée surélevé, comprend un étage carré et des combles. L'entrée de la demeure s'effectue par les deux façades. Elle est accessible grâce à un escalier en fer à cheval, à une volée. En façade antérieure, l'escalier date du 18e siècle, tandis que celui de la façade opposée est une copie de Jobbé-Duval.
