To make a day of it

Château de Brocéliande stands in Paimpont (Ille-et-Vilaine), in the Bretagne region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

The château de Brocéliande stands in Paimpont, in Ille et Vilaine, beside a lake on the edge of the forest that shares its name. Built between 1910 and 1914 for Joseph de la Brosse as a holiday residence and hunting lodge, it is notable for its Neo Norman architecture, its clock tower and its curved imperial roof. The estate, currently undergoing roof restoration work, now functions mainly as a venue for events, gatherings and holiday stays rather than as a monument open for standard visits.

This place also features in The castles of King Arthur and Brocéliande
