What the French Ministry of Culture records

Les premiers seigneurs sont connus vers 1380. La construction de l'édifice semble remonter au 15e siècle. Il fut restauré au 16e. Dans un état de 1723, le château est décrit comme un corps de logis en pavillon, avec trois tours d'angles, la quatrième étant tombée dix ans avant l'état. Le tout était entouré de fossés en eau, franchis par un pont en bois. Cour et basse-cour sont ceintes de murs. Par la suite, les douves ont été comblées et les murs d'enceinte démolis. Une deuxième tour d'angle a disparu au 19e siècle. L'édifice a de nouveau été restauré vers 1880.
