Château de la Croix-Richard stands in Le Mesnil-Jourdain (Eure), in the Normandie region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: first quarter of the 20th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.
At the place called Bois d'Acquigny, near Le Mesnil-Jourdain in the Eure department, the château de la Croix-Richard stands in a neo-Louis XVI style typical of the early 20th century. The estate combines this château, built by architect Henri Jacquelin, with an older Swiss-style chalet, a remnant of a wooded hunting ground once planted with Austrian black pines. The whole, with its surrounding wall and entrance porch, forms a coherent site reflecting two periods in the life of the same family of industrialists from Louviers.
