What the French Ministry of Culture records

En 1489, le propriétaire reçut l'autorisation du roi de fortifier son manoir. Au 17e siècle, un deuxième édifice fut construit à l'ouest, entre deux tours de l'enceinte. Le château du 15e siècle fut endommagé au cours de la Seconde guerre mondiale et rasé peu après. Seul le bas-relief sculpté avec armoiries de la double porte d'entrée fut récupéré pour être apposé sur la façade du logis du 17e siècle. Ce bâtiment, composé d'un rez-de-chaussée et d'un étage, est toujours encadré par les deux tours de l'enceinte médiévale qui ont conservé quelques éléments défensifs. Les lucarnes du toit ont été reprises en 1844.
