What the French Ministry of Culture records

Au 17e siècle, la seigneurie de Fourg comptait trois domaines importants. La famille Faton des Bryans donne au " château " sa forme actuelle vers 1770-1780. La claveciniste Marcelle de Lacour (1896-1997) y résida. Etabli sur deux étages de soubassement, le logis a un plan en U donnant forme à la cour que ferme un portail à grille ornée. Des éléments de décor 18e siècle sont conservés à l'intérieur. Le parc s'étend jusqu'aux maisons de la rue principale à l'ouest, avec au sud l'ancienne ferme et au nord des communs aménagés vers 1900.
