What the French Ministry of Culture records

Ancien fief relevant de la Tour Isoré et du château de Sennevières. De la forteresse rectangulaire du 15e siècle, subsistent divers éléments. Limitée par des douves, l'enceinte du château devait être flanquée d'au moins quatre tours d'angle. L'entrée au-dessus des douves devait se faire au milieu du côté sud. Au centre de l'enceinte Est, les arrachements de croisées d'ogives sur la face nord des bâtiments encore existants, laissent voir qu'une grande salle devait relier ceux-ci à la tour nord-est. Le bâtiment sud conserve un sous-sol voûté dont les piliers sont reliés par des arcs surbaissés caractéristiques des 15e et 16e siècles.
