To make a day of it

Château de Flée stands in Le Val-Larrey (Côte-d'Or), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 18th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

The château de Flée stands at the northern edge of the village of Le Val-Larrey, in the Côte-d'Or, on a terrace bordered by the remains of old moats. Rebuilt in the 18th century on an H-shaped plan, it retains a round tower and an octagonal sentry post near the entrance to the outer courtyard, both surviving from an earlier medieval structure. Visitors can see an interior staircase with its stairwell, the decor of the central drawing room, and an old kitchen fireplace. The property suffered damage during the Second World War before being restored from 1980 onwards.
