Cet édifice fut construit en 1640. Dès l'origine, logis manable et bâtiments d'exploitation sont étroitement liés, s'organisant autour d'une grande cour fermée. L'accès se fait par un portail monumental associé à deux bretèches, très caractéristiques de l'architecture du Bessin au 17ème siècle. La demeure était pourvue d'un jardin d'agrément, disparu aujourd'hui, dont l'assiette se trouve délimitée par de hauts murs de clôture.
