Château de Clefmont stands in Clefmont (Haute-Marne), in the Grand Est region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 11th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

Overlooking the village of Clefmont and the Bassigny region, this château grew out of an early medieval motte and became, from the 12th century onward, a fortified stronghold protected by ditches cut into the rock and an entrance flanked by two round towers. The Choiseul family, and later the Marquis du Châtelet, reshaped the site between the 17th and early 18th centuries, opening Renaissance-style windows and raising a new building in the courtyard in 1701. Visitors can still see the levelled towers, a castle chapel dedicated to Saint Catherine with surviving frescoes, and a 16th-century dwelling altered over time. The site, now privately owned, still bears traces of a 17th-century fire.
