Chignans castle is a former fortified house located in the commune of Allinges, between the châteaux of Allinges and the town of Thonon-les-Bains, set back from the departmental road. It features a tower that once belonged to the Joly family, several members of whom lived and died there between the 16th and 17th centuries. The building underwent restoration work at the end of the 19th century after being purchased by the Boal family.
