Château de Charny stands in Charny (Côte-d'Or), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument. The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.
In Charny, in the Côte-d'Or, the ruins of a 14th-century fortress stand above the village on the edge of a plateau, overlooking the road below. A polygonal enclosure survives, once flanked by eight round towers, along with sections of thick curtain walls and the start of a stairway that once led to the ramparts. The site, now private property, still bears the marks of a stronghold torn down in the 17th century and later stripped for building stone.
