What the French Ministry of Culture records
Un premier bâtiment, le logis nord, flanqué d'une tour d'escalier, fut édifié à la fin du 15e siècle ou au tout début du 16e. D'importants travaux d'agrandissement sont entrepris dans la deuxième moitié du 16e siècle ou au début du 17e : creusement d'importants fossés ; construction d'une tour carrée couronnée de mâchicoulis ; édification d'un second logis (aile sud) ; mise en place de bâtiments à l'est clôturant l'accès de la demeure ; organisation d'un jardin est. Après ces travaux, construction d'un gros pavillon reliant le logis nord à la tour carrée, et de l'aile Est couronnée d'une chapelle au décor peint. D'importantes destructions ont eu lieu après 1824.
