La proximité de l'église et de l'abadie, demeure du seigneur du village qui participait à la dîme et nommait les curés, est évocatrice de la vie béarnaise sous l'Ancien régime. Le château date du 15e siècle et présente, du côté est, une façade percée de fenêtres à meneaux et dominée par une haute tour. La façade ouest est percée d'une porte du 17e siècle d'architecture classique rustique.
