Le château actuel a été construit en 1685 par T. Fallet de Bernières, trésorier de la fabrique de Bény, sur une construction plus ancienne. Il comporte six travées en façade. Dans la seconde moitié du 18e siècle, son fils Claude-François Fallet de Bernières a agrandi le château, avec l'ajout de deux travées, un retour d'équerre sur la cour d'honneur et la construction des communs (avec pressoir, boulangerie et écuries) et de la chapelle. Un parc a été aménagé ; il conserve son dessin d'origine avec ses allées et charmilles ; une orangerie bordée d'une galerie à usage de serre et surmontée d'une balustrade à l'italienne a également été construite.
