What the French Ministry of Culture records

En 1845, le domaine comprenait une habitation sans doute agrémentée d'un parc paysager et de communs. A cette époque, des travaux d'extension sont menés sur le logis, doublé en profondeur. Une seconde campagne de transformation a lieu dans les années 1890-1892. Le logis est restructuré, avec l'extension de la salle à manger en style classique et double, de style néo-normand. Plusieurs bâtiments de ferme sont créés. L'ensemble est réalisé par l'architecte Nicolas. Les paysagistes Henri et Achile Duchêne restructurent le parc par la création, devant la façade antérieure du château. Ce parterre s'accompagne d'un boulingrin précédant l'entrée du potager. Henri Duchêne crée ensuite une grande pièce d'eau en fer à cheval circonscrivant un massif. Il nivelle tout le parc pour créer une perspective en légère descente depuis le château.
