Château de Bagnolet stands in Cognac (Charente), in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
On the banks of the Charente near Cognac, the château de Bagnolet stands at the end of an English-style park sloping gently down to the river. Built in 1810 in a style reminiscent of Louisiana colonial houses, the estate has belonged to the Hennessy family since 1841 and remains primarily a private reception venue rather than a public monument. Visitors are drawn above all to the winter garden with its citrus trees and bougainvilleas, and to the box-lined avenues and garden follies scattered through the grounds.
