What the French Ministry of Culture records

"Au 16e siècle, la maison est signalée comme étant "forte". Cette construction des 15e-16e siècles était vraisemblablement flanquée de quatre tours dont trois subsistent. Elle a été complètement transformée à la fin du 17e et du 18e siècle (fronton baroque). L'édifice est en équerre, les ailes est-ouest et nord-sud subsistant à l'ouest. Entre les fenêtres du rez-de-chaussée, subsiste un Hercule en pierre, grandeur nature. Entre celles du premier étage se trouve un buste du 17e, placé dans un médaillon au-dessus d'une console. L'aile nord-sud conserve un escalier du 17e à balustres carrées."
